OSU Oklahoma State university plasma cut rain gauge.  The glass measures 5" to give you an idea of the size.  They have two holes to mount on a post, tree, fence or railing or choose to add stakes to stick in the ground.

Plasma cut out of 16 awg sheet metal.  You can pick mountable as pictured or It can have 1/4" stakes added  to make it a yard stake.
